1. (Proper Noun) The Padma Vibhushan is India's second highest civilian honour. It consists of a medal and a citation and is awarded by the President of India. It was established on January 2, 1954. This service includes the Arts, Education, Industry, Literature, Science, Sports, Social Service and public life. পদ্ম সন্মানসমূহৰ ভিতৰত এই সন্মান শীৰ্ষ স্থানীয় আৰু ভাৰতৰ দ্বিতীয় শ্ৰেষ্ঠ সন্মান ৷ ১৯৫৪ চনৰ পৰা এই সন্মান প্ৰদান কৰি অহা হৈছে ৷ কোনো এক অনুষ্ঠানত ভাৰতৰ ৰাষ্ট্ৰপতিয়ে ইয়াক প্ৰদান কৰে ৷ সাহিত্য, সংস্কৃতি, বিজ্ঞান, ক্ৰীড়া, মানৱ সেৱা আদি বিভিন্ন দিশত খ্যাতি অৰ্জন কৰা লোকক এই বঁটা প্ৰদান কৰা হয় ৷
